Position: Account Coordinator

Position Description: Work alongside the Account Manager in providing strategic and operational support to our clients’ businesses in Japan.
  • ・Compile background research for use in strategic planning.
  • ・Inform clients of key industry trends and movements.
  • ・Monitor the business activity
  • ・Facilitate communication between the client & Japanese partner company
  • ・Provide English > Japanese / Japanese > English translation
  • ・Identify potential issues and opportunities that affect the client’s business in Japan.
Employment Status: Full-time employee with discretional probation period
Location: Tokyo (Chiyoda-ku)

REQUIREMENTS

Education: University Degree or greater
Job Experience: 2+ years employment experience
Language ability: Fluency in both English & Japanese
(Minimum of Business Level conversation, reading & writing skills)
Computer Skills: Basic computer competency
Key Characteristics: Integrity, common sense, team player, effective communicator, self-motivated and able to multi-task.

As an Account Coordinator, you will first be assigned to one specific client, but will eventually gain involvement in the work of multiple clients from numerous industries. Foxmark will provide great experience to develop not only your understanding and skills in the various stages of business development, but also experience this in multiple industries.

  • ・Develop strategies for market entry and identify key candidates for the Japanese partner company.
  • ・Structure / restructure the client’s business platform in Japan.
  • ・Manage the business relationship between the client and the Japanese partner companies.
  • ・Maintain strategic alignment between the client & Japanese partner companies.
  • ・Facilitate communication between client & Japanese partner companies.
  • ・Identify new growth opportunities and execute tactics to achieve them.
  • ・Identify potential issues and resolution tactics to minimize hindrance to the business.
